Online options

Flexibility is important — you want to take classes on your schedule. We offer online, blended, and low-residency programs that meet the same rigorous standards as in-person programs and are taught by the same outstanding professors.

Student research

With the support of our faculty and professional research staff, you may perform solution-oriented inquiry and analysis that contribute to your professional development and enhance your career opportunities. You may also co-author published research articles or reports.

Graduate assistantships

Get a part-time job as a graduate assistant, research assistant, or teaching assistant in one of our many University departments! This is a great way to develop professional skills, gain work experience to enhance your academic or career goals, and earn valuable financial support.

New buildings on our Portland campus

Our new eco-conscious McGoldrick Center for Career & Student Success and Portland Commons residence hall are open! The new buildings offer student services, a dining hall, plenty of lounge and study areas, our University Store, and even a café and brewpub. Housing is available for ages 22+ with the option for 12-month contracts.
