PolitiFact is live fact-checking former President Donald Trump’s Q&A session July 31, 2024, at the National Association of Black Journalists Convention and Career Fair in Chicago.

According to a NABJ press release, Trump will speak with political journalists at 12 p.m. CST/1 p.m. EST. The event is closed to the public, but will be streamed on YouTube and Facebook. ABC News senior congressional correspondent Rachel Scott, FOX News anchor Harris Faulkner and Semafor politics reporter Kadia Goba will moderate the conversation.

Vice President Kamala Harris, the presumptive Democratic nominee, was also invited to participate in this year’s convention, but her confirmation was still pending as of July 29, according to the press release.
